I began the Celebrity series several years ago celebrating my beautiful (wonderful) dog, Merci. I juxtaposed him with female models to create unique and interesting images.
I wanted to use bold, vibrant colors with simplified linear motifs that would emphasize a strong, fluid figure-ground gestalt (while also engaging the viewer).
